Decisions: Action or Apathy>> Values> Lesson 4> Frame 1

Inspiration from those you respect

As mentioned in lesson 1 we often are inspired by the people closest to us. While inspiring us to set goals in our life, these people often have a lot to do with shaping our values and attitudes in some way.

In this activity you are invited to look for information on what inspires some of the people we look up to. Students can choose their own role models here and consider who may have had the most influence in their lives. Information can often be found on online web sites, interviews in teen mags or online, listening to TV talk shows etc. Students will have an opportunity to illustrate answers to the question "What is your source of inspiration?"
